The Epworth class has been an integral part of FUMC since 1962. Our members are a diverse group of individuals and couples who enjoy life, learning and serving. Our lessons are primarily lecture format and focus on scripture, Christian history and theology.
Currently, our membership is made up of people over 50 but we welcome any and all who enter our doors. Join us Sundays in room 100 for coffee and fellowship, followed by biblical study.

On Sunday, June 24, 2018, Janey Fallen led the honoring of long time Sunday School teacher Jerry McCarty.
Jerry had taught Sunday School for 52 years combining years taught in the Men's Bible Class and the Epworth Class.
A number of members of the Epworth Class were present to pay this tribute to Jerry!
Jerry responded to the very fitting plaque presented by Pastor Steve Holston with some well chosen words
of appreciation and honor to God for giving himthis opportunity to learn as a teacher.
Jerry challenged others to consider teaching at church to gain what he had gained by doing so.
There never seems to be a dull moment in the Epworth Class!

Epworth Class members give their service to the church in many ways.
Ginger Boon and Qilan Bryan work diligently with Chat and Chew every month!
Donna Montgomery and Iris Ball (Epworth Class member) also work every month with Chat and Chew!
Janey Fallen gives in many ways, but her most visible service is the giving of Children's Sermons during Worship services! Adults love her presentations, too!
