Yet, even he could see the injustice of sending Jesus of Nazareth to the cross. He, his sons and their lamb, were caught up in the processional taking Jesus to Golgotha. Simon was forced to carry Jesus’ cross. Peter - April 1, 2018 (Easter Sunday)Simon Peter, one of Jesus’ closest earthly friends told the story of loving Jesus, betraying Jesus, discovering the empty tomb and experiencing the risen Christ on the first Easter. He sang, “He’s Alive.”Thomas - April 8, 2018Thomas was the last disciple to see the resurrected Christ and was skeptical until he saw and touched Jesus for himself. He assured us that Jesus truly is alive. Blessed are those who have not seen the resurrected Jesus and yet believe.
