Blessed Assurance
Ministry Leader: Keith Currens

This group provides food to bereaved families, both inside and outside the church family. Please contact the church office if you have a need for this ministry during a time of bereavement.

Blessed Assurance is a group of about 20 church members, with servants’ hearts, who can provide a meal and meal service to bereaved family members and friends prior to or after funeral services.  Typically, when the church staff is notified concerning the death of a family member, the wheels are set in motion to find out if the family would like a meal.  It can be provided “pre” or “post” funeral services.  This comes at a time when the family already has so many things to think about and is going through the grieving process.  This ministry can help ease their minds, in some way, by eliminating one of the tasks facing them and they can take comfort in “breaking bread” with their loved ones.  If you have any questions, please contact the church staff.
